'Pie in the Sky'
An evening at the Victory Cafe on Snaefell Mountain
including Mountain Railway Transfer from Laxey
Join us for an exclusive 'Pie in the Sky' dining experience at the all new Victory Cafe on the Snaefell Mountain. Victory Cafe is based in a crazy ex-Cold War Rotor Radar Station overlooking the 31st Milestone of the TT course and specialises in hearty homemade pies.
You'll travel from Laxey up onto the Snaefell mountain on board one of the islands Vintage Victorian Electric Trams. The Snaefell Railway has been in operation since 1895 and is the only electric mountain railway in the British Isles. From Laxey you'll wind your way up the Island's only mountain, Snaefell summit, where breath-taking views await.
At 2,036 feet above sea level, on a clear day you can see England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and across the Isle of Man.
The Fecktones, describe themselves as ’a band of musical misfits who play an intriguingly hypnotic combination of ska, gypsy, folk, Balkan, Celtic and Sea Shanties.
